What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYer?

And we're already at Sunday!

Morning everyone! Great answers to yesterday's qotd I have a few posts to catch up on now!

The concert yesterday was so much fun! Getting in after 2 am, less so.

The plan today is to get organized for the week! I'll do some meal prep, and I also need to buy new office shoes. Yesterday I picked up a few pieces that should last me most of spring and early summer. I was pretty bitter about having to pay full price, but whatcha gonna do?

Qotd: so, who's a morning person? Or are you a night owl?

I am very much an early riser. Sometimes it's a curse. Like today, when I'd be happy to sleep in a few more hours...

Menu:

B:protein shake

L: beef stew

D: tbd on how meal prep for the week goes!

S: skyr with bran buds

Good morning! I was awake until about 2 am as well, traveling from Massachusetts to Florida. I am TIRED (but enjoying my coffee). I slept a little late ****il 6:30).

QOTD: I have become an early riser over the years because I always commuted a long way to work and wanted to avoid traffic. So normally I am up between 5-5:30 am. I do enjoy the quiet time in the morning and don't like it when others are up right away and trying to have discussions. In fact, I don't like to talk to anyone until around 8 (at work or home). After I retire in the next 3-9 months I wonder how that will change. I used to like staying up late when young, but generally am in bed by 9 these days. I'm guessing my window may slide a bit, but probably not by more than an hour or so (we will see).

I hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese (have to get to store here)

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Probably some sort of fish (going out to dinner). There might be some bites of cake involved (belated birthday celebration)

S: Almonds

I'm the same with my quiet morning time! Sometimes my husband gets up early to sit and have coffee with me, and then wants to turn on the TV! Ahhh... no. It's quiet time and OH time haha

I see you had some surgery. I wondered what all they did and how it's turning out. I've been seriouly thinking about it but then I wonder at 63 if it's foolish to spend the money and will I look stupid at my age with a flatter tummy and less wrinkles.

Roz, I just turned 62 (yikes) and I had a TT and facelift 2 months ago. The ET stomach disgusted me and the jowls and neck folds that used to be filled with fat made me look much older (to me anyway). I feel so much better about myself now! It cost slightly more than the new driveway we put in last year so I decided that I was worth at least as much as a driveway.

hahaha! Well I know what my DD's cost so I guess I'm gong to have to live with wrinkles and extra skin! How long was recovery?

I wasn't willing to be seen by the public so 2 weeks until I let SIL see me, 3 weeks for going to stores, 4 weeks for friends who didn't know, 6 weeks until I went to the office. TT was less painful than I had expected (I'd had 2 previous open abdominal surgeries and this was easier). Pretty comfortable at 2 weeks, good at 3 weeks, fine by 4 weeks.

Good morning! I am 1000% a morning person. I get up around 4am during the week and I consider it sleeping for 1/2 the day if I ever sleep until 7am on the weekend. (I did that this morning, though and I am not complaining!). I like being a morning person, except for that I wish I could stay up past 9pm without being exhausted.

Now I am off to to the gym and to do a little grocery shopping, but the rest of the day is for relaxing!

I hope you have an awesome first day tomorrow! I can't wait to hear how it goes :)

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!

It's supposed to get up to 77 degrees today here in Nebraska! I can't wait to take my dog(s) for a walk!

QOTD: All my life I've been a night person and had a terrible time getting up in the morning but the past couple years I've been going to bed at 10:30 pm and getting up at 6:30 am for some odd reason. I guess I've changed due to old age.

L: lettuce, chicken, cheese, low cal dressing

D: chili cheese dog

S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

Exercise: Walking my dog around the subdivision

Have a great day everyone! Tomorrow is the first day of SPRING! YAY!
