Hi Everyone! We made it back to hump day! Woot! Boy, the weather has been so dreary--grey, rainy, and cool. Can I just say again how March can kiss my arse? I read that it is the 8th coldest on record in Boston, and Friday we are getting another Nor'easter with wet accumulating snow! 3 more days. I have high expectations for you, April--Don't.Let.Me.Down!

Tonight we are having dinner with someone who is visiting Boston on a business trip and we are meeting up in one of those gourmet burger restaurants. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. I will NOT get the gourmet Tater Tots. [inset Homer Simpson drool...Mmmm! Gourmet Tater Tots...]

QOTD: What memories do you have about kindergarten? I have a bunch, but the ones that stick out the most are: 1.) Getting in trouble on a field trip because I refused to hold hands with the boy who sucked his thumb. 2.) The giant boa constrictor snake we had in a glass case over the reading nook. and 3.) The day I got to go to 1st grade and show off that I could read!

Good morning!

Another work from home day. Today was going to be my day off from the gym, but I skipped intervals Monday and I'm in the middle of a Fitbit Workweek Hustle and I'm going for it (if anyone wants to be Fitbit friends, PM me your Fitbit email and I'll add you).

JB, I helped a coworker the other day. She said "I need candy!" And I said, "you want candy, you don't need it." She laughed and said thank you. And she told me later she was thinking about that when she decided not to order a pizza and make something healthy instead. So, here goes. You don't need tater tots! You just want them.

QOTD: as a child I was really into looking at photo albums and now it's hard to tell what I remember from my actual experiences in kindergarten and what I remember from looking at photos of kindergarten. I remember that there was some problem with our sandbox and they replaced all the sand with uncooked rice. And my mother tells me that right before the first day of school I decided to trim my own bangs and they looked all crooked and short for my first day of school pics.

Plan... I'm not usually one to wing it but I've come up with and scrapped 2 plans today so far and I'm grocery shopping today. I'm gonna make something new for dinner. Eggface "mac & cheese". And... well... we'll just see about lunch.

Breakfast: coffee with 2 oz premier protein.
Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 banana nut protein mini muffins.
Lunch: TBD
Snack: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt with scoop of protein powder.
Dinner: "mac & cheese"

Exercise: sprints on the elliptical and a mile jog on the treadmill. Lots of steps!!

Totals:
We'll see!

Morning!

I have so much OH to catch up on! The "job" thing is cramping my style!

Qotd: I remember peeing my pants. I went to French immersion kindergarten. We were allowed to speak English until Christmas. After Christmas, if you wanted something, you had to ask in French. What I wanted, was a trip to the bathroom, but I was too shy to ask in French.

Instead, I was playing hoolahoop hopscotch, landed a two foot jump.....and peed my pants...

hahhahahaa ah, precious memories....

Menu:

B: premiere protein shake

L: 2.5 oz of pork with coleslaw

D: something with ground beef.

S: skyr

S: ham

have a good one!

I peed my pants well into second grade, and wet the bed until 4th... apparently I was the ultimate in 'coolness'

Funny thing is, I have a great bladder now... almost 52 yo and 2 kids later, and I've done pretty good overall! (and even better since weight loss!)

Happy Wednesday. Thank you all for the one year surgiversary good wishes yesterday. I had just checked the New England weather and saw the storm. We are just going to miss it! We are leaving Florida mid-day Friday and will be home by dinner on Sunday. Right now it looks like it will be dry for our drive.

QOTD: Kindergarten was a LONG time ago! The only thing I remember is the hurricane that came one day and my mother had to pick me up in the howling wind and rain. In those days we usually walked and we didn't have much warning about storms coming.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Possibly out to dinner one last time - if so protein based appetizer

S: Protein bar

Good morning! Yesterday did not go as planned. I have gotten myself into a pickle and must stop with the f--ing candy. So funny--candy doesn't make me feel like death but cake or macaroni or something like that does. Our funny bodies. Anyway, here's to trying again!

Kindergarten--I remember very little. I do remember nap time and the fisher price wind up clock my teacher would play while we rested. Strange right?

B- tea with fairlife milk, light and fit Greek yogurt

L- 5 oz ****tail shrimp with pico and guac

D- ham and sautéed zucchini

S- turkey rollup

S- babybel

i feel like this is plenty of food and know it comes in under 800 cals. Wish me luck today. Have to kick this carb monster, I'm coming up on one year may 2nd and just want to push for this 10 pounds at a minimum.

You got this! Start a no candy streak today. How about an accountability partner/challenge? My issue is not candy but a few crackers (usually from Em's cheez-it box in the evening when I am packing up my lunch-the box stares at me I tell ya!). If you can stay away from candy I can stay away from crackers, deal?!?!?
