What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Is it me, or did anyone else wake up with more of a Friday vibe? Oh well.

Today is a tale of good news / bad news for me.

Good news! The Carafate and Omeprozole is working! The first few days, I felt like the acid was worse, but yesterday I felt much better. No more burning acid in my chest, and my hunger just disappeared! Also, I thought I was going crazy, but for almost a month, I was tasting lemon all the time. This morning I noticed that is gone, too.

Bad news! I really hurt my achilles tendon when running. It hurts (not too badly) but I can feel a crackling and ripping feeling when I walk, unless I limp and walk on my toe. I can't really stay all the way off of it today, but I am going to wear good shoes to work, and hope for the best. Any advice on this? Deanna?

QOTD: What fictional character from a TV show would you like to meet? I would move to Stars Hollow and hang with Rory and Lorelei from the Gilmore Girls. Or retire and go hang with the Golden Girls in Florida! When I was a kid, I would have given anything to be a 7th Brady Bunch sibling :)

Today is our company's team building retreat, so we'll be at a park this morning doing a team building obstacle course, and then they're treating us to lunch before we go back for about 3 hours of work in the afternoon. This makes for such a relief that I did this surgery, because now everyone's dealing with close to 100 lbs less of me, lol.

Todays Plan (without lunch):

Huh. I watch a lot of terrible shows, and I'm struggling to pick a set to be part of. My first pick would gave been golden girls too. But I wouldn't mind wandering through Cabot Cove to hear the rumors that must be circulating about Jessica fletcher being a serial killer. But then again, I'd Probably wind up being a murder victim, and her latest mystery to solve...
