Morning everyone!

another quick one from me!

Qotd: Up late last night decorating, and I was so grateful for my surgery. I was climbing ladders and standing on chairs, and had tons of energy, even after working all day, and driving for a couple of hours! The energy, and increased mobility I have now, is something I never take for granted.

what are you most grateful for post wls?

menu:

B: protein shake

L: devilled eggs, crustless quiche, fruit and veggies

D: BBQ sausage I think!

have a good one!

Good morning! I saw your pictures yesterday. You look beautiful and are doing so well. I'm glad you have so much energy!

QOTD: That's a tough question... I'm grateful that my back, knees and feet no longer hurt so I can take LONG walks. I'm grateful that my health goals were achieved. I'm grateful that I look good in clothes now and can enjoy shopping for them (perhaps too much shopping...)

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: ? (Company)

D: ? Out to dinner, but definitely some type of fish

S: cheese sticks (light cheeseheads - my goto snack when on the run, as they are easy to carry in my purse)

Good morning! Warm weather certainly has arrived here in MD. The last two days have been in the mid 80s and today is supposed to be above 90. I've always minded the heat pretty badly in the past and I'm wondering how I will do this summer with less of me to carry around.

Yesterday, I got out early and took a 3.6 mile walk before it got too hot. Then after I signed out of work, I took a quick trip to the pool. Because of my asthma I hadn't been swimming for 7 months until last weekend, but I practiced some slow laps and they went well. It will be a while until I can just swim laps, but I have my deep water aerobics and that is good.

QOTD: I am deeply grateful that my diabetes and high blood pressure are under much better control even in the 8 weeks since surgery. I am off all of my meds except for a low dose of Metformin for the diabetes and I suspect that I will be off of it soon. I am also grateful that I am already able to move better than I could before surgery.

Breakfast: Spinach feta egg muffin

Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake

Lunch: Spinach chicken sausages

Snack: Greek yogurt with SF raspberry jam

Dinner: Crab cake with green beans

Exercise: 45 minutes of laps and aerobics at the pool, maybe a short walk if I can beat the heat

It's a protein powder that I mix in with my coffee every morning. It's a hold over from when my pouch was too cranky to eat in the morning, so I combined my coffee and protein together.

I don't need it as a protein supplement anymore and it is probably just adding calories to my day, but I am an addict. I buy it in 3lb bags off Amazon. Lol.

Fit Frappe also has a Spiced Chai Latte one that is delish, too.
