Hey Menu Crew! Its junior Friday today, yahoo! I have a migraine today, started last evening, not sure why but if I had to guess its menstrual. Can't take Advil and Tylenol does squat, its going to be one of "those" days. UGH

QOTD: What is your biggest or longest road trip you have done? Went on lots of road trips with my parents as a kid (to PEI & New Brunswick & Florida) but as an adult Hubby and I have driven to Florida three times. From Toronto, Ontario Canada its approx 22-24 hour drive and 2100 km (1300 miles) to Florida, we do it in 20 hours and just go straight through, we stop for gas and pee brakes. When my hubby graduated from University him & his Dad drove across Canada through all the provinces to Alaska and toured all around Alaska, took them 6 weeks or something, he said it was incredible, the time spent with his Dad (who passed in 2007) and the scenery across Canada and the people they met along the way was amazing, this was the 90s so it was a different time, he holds that road trip very close to his heart.

The cucumber with cream cheese and everything spice is amazing. I was at the gym yesterday, in the middle of my training session and all of as sudden I hear someone say- "hey, Where do you get that everything spice? You are killing me"...one of the other trainers who follows my instagram page...LOLOL

Good morning Daisy and everyone!

Hope your migraine goes away. I woke up with a headache this morning also, but not a migraine.

QOTD: Longest road trip was as a teenage when my family drove to Florida for my sister's Navy boot camp graduation. I would have had 4 years of perfect attendance in high school except I was away 2 days for the graduation in my senior year, lol. My sister looked so fabulous in her dressed white Naval uniform. I was so proud of her and her service for our great country!

Menu:

Breakfast: Morningstar sausage and cheese

Lunch: egg salad

Dinner: not sure yet but will be protein forward.

Glad I caught up and not a day late today, lol!

Good morning menu folks!

I had my 3 month appointment with my surgeon yesterday (1 week early). I have officially lost 45 pounds since surgery although I've lost more since my initial consultation on 2/2. He is very pleased with my progress, and I am most pleased that I am off almost all of my medicines for diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. He asked me what I am doing and I was able to honestly say that I am eating my protein and exercising and that seems to be working of me.

I'm not sure that I will get in a long walk today since it is already in the 70s and very humid. I will do at least one short walk inside and there is deep water aerobics tonight at the pool.

QOTD: My longest roadtrip was a 4 day adventure cross country by myself 14 years ago. I drove a rental car for delivery and got paid to do it. I didn't have much tourist time since I was driving for time, but I did get to see the Grand Canyon briefly and a few other National Parks. It was scary and fun all at once since I was alone. But I'll never do it again so I'm glad that I got the chance.

Breakfast: Hard boiled egg, turkey bacon

Snack: Ice Tea protein shake

Lunch: TJ's Balsamic chicken

Snack: deli baked chicken

Dinner: salmon burger, baby carrots

Exercise: short walk, deep water aerobics
