Hi everyone, I am tired today, up way too late and had a broken sleep, its going to be a long day...

Should we do a theme for Photo Friday? What about a pic of your favourite thing you did last summer?

Accountability: Last night was weird, I was not hungry all night and then at 11pm (which is past my bedtime but I was still up) I got hungry so I had some cheese & Doritos. Not the worst or the best choices but there it is I did it. Stats from MFP yesterday before extra food: 1000 calories, 136 protein, 35 carbs, stats in MFP after the extra food: 1380 calories, 146 protein, 66 carbs. I should have just gone to bed!

3.7 yrs post op RNY - maintenance food

B: lots of decaf with 2 vanilla PP + 1oz of pepper jack cheese

L: 3.5 oz of tandoori chicken over lettuce + hot sauce (take out at work)

D: turkey & swiss cheese rolls ups (3 slices of each) + honey mustard

S: skry yogurt + fresh raspberries + bran buds

TOTALS: 910 calories, 117 protein, 35 carbs

V: Patches are on

L: 120 oz is my usual, I strive for this or more

E: my fav night at the gym - 60 min step class followed by 60 min muscle pump

what I ate today.

Coffee x2, london broil with mustard,yogurt with blueberries, Quest bar, Trader Joe's frozen asparagus (good stuff), swiss cheese melted on little pepperonis in the microwave, and lots of diet iced tea.

I don't plan ahead. What I am trying to do is have thing available and chose what sounds best at the time.

Maybe I don't belong on the menu thread. I'm never gonna be that plan out girl.

I also like tracking it as the day goes by.

I think it is okay to post what you ate the prior day if knowing that you will be doing so makes you feel more "accountable"?

Menu thread is totally for you! If you don't plan a menu, that is cool. It is still good to keep up with you and see how you are doing. You can get ideas of meals and offer ones you find that you really liked. You can share your daily ups and downs and have accountability if you like. We are a support group not a judgement crew.

yesterdays stats:

calories 709, carbs 16, protein 79.

Todays plan:

Bpremiere protein

L: salad bar at a grocery store. They have tons of protein options there, and usually costs me like 3$ for lunch and afternoon snack.

D: either leftover steak, or leftover sausage.

Good morning menu folks!

It's cooler this morning so I hope to get out and do a walk before it gets too hot. I miss walking when I don't get one in. Tonight is also deep water aerobics class so that will be good.

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey sausage patty

Snack: Ice Tea protein shake

Lunch: TJ's Vera Cruz swai

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast

Dinner: flounder, broccoli

Exercise: walk, water aerobics

Hi guys!

I'm tired as well today Daisy....I did not sleep well at all, a few hours of broken sleep punctuated by my son kicking me in the back in his sleep. I'm dashing out to take him to camp and then I need to prep for tomorrow...pack my bag and such.
I'm on clear liquids today because TOMORROW IS SURGERY DAY OMG!!!! so my menu isn't very exciting. I have water, clear juice, jello and I'll probably hit my MIL up for some chicken soup (strained of course) later. I get to have some delicious pre-surgery drink at the end of the night and 2 hours before I'm scheduled...so there's that. I hope it tastes better than the last batch...they changed brands because of all the complaints of how awful the last one tasted.

Anyways, time to get the kidlet ready to go....have a great day guys!
