Howdy pouch pals! Today is already a crappy day... woke up with a killer headache, dizzy, nauseous and right shoulder pain, it all points to my gallbladder acting up again...but fingers crossed its not, just got a text from a co worker, she is not feeling well either and staying home so it could be something going around at work, who knows.

Accountability: changed dinner to half a Costco hot dog and felt so ill after so what did fat girl brain do she went home and ate two handfuls of Pretzel crisps which only made it worse. Damn you obesity, my body may be slim but my mind is fat and wants carbs. The fight is daily and the struggle is real people!!

QOTD: what did you look forward to most as a kid when summer vacation came. We had a pool growing up so we could not wait to spend our days in the pool with the neighbourhood kids. From the time we finished breakfast to when we were called in for dinner we were in the pool or running around playing on our bikes, oh to be a kid again, this adulting things sucks LOL

Morning!

starting to realize Canada day is this weekend! Think I will head out tonight and see about getting an outfit! We have a couple of events over the weekend so maybe two...

accountability: stayed on plan yesterday, realized I forgot to include a snack, so I added some sunflower seeds.

Qotd: bike rides to see friends. Growing up on a farm, we were all a little spread out, so you didn't really see friends after school. It was church on Sunday, and in summer, you had the time to bike to each others house, or meet half way etc.

menu:

B: premiere protein

L: egg salad with sliced cucumber

D: leftover steak

S: sunflower seeds

have a good one!

Daisy, I hope you feel better. When is your gallbladder surgery scheduled for? Could it be moved up if it is causing more problems?

Accountability: Still on vacation but following rules most days (other than a glass or 2 of wine a day). As of this morning I was only up 1 pound from when I arrived (based on the resort scale). We will see what my own scale says Thursday morning at home...

QOTD: Summer for me was always the BEACH (still is). I used to go to the local pond beach every day as a kid. Now I have a beach pond around the corner and ocean beaches 10 minutes away (and I winter in Florida and timeshare in Aruba!).

B: eggbeaters and cheese

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: leftover beef tenderloin and veggies (and wine)

S: yogurt

So sorry you are not feeling well, again. Every time someone talks about gallbladder issues I feel so grateful that I haven't dealt with that, yet.

Accountability: Stayed on track yesterday but since I went for my first run in a long time, I was up in water weight this morning. I seriously want to cry. I know it is just a number but I am so frustrated to see it climbing.

QOTD: I was a camp kid. I loved all things camp--lake swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, putting on plays, and having friends around all the time. There is an adult camp at the camp I used to go to, and I have always wanted to go, but they do it the first week in September, and as an educator, that has never been a good time.

B: Fit Frappe Coffee & Iced Coffee with Milk & Blueberry Greek Yogurt with Fresh Blackberries.

S: Italian Sausage

L: 3 oz Chicken Breast with Everything Bagel Spice & Cheese Os

S: 4 oz Grilled Chicken

D: ??

Totals later...

Hey yall

Accountability: I did decide to not go to yoga last night and did some things around the house instead. I did also decide to eat a couple handfuls of almonds and peanuts before bed and a lara peppermint stick protein bar (which I can't really call a protein bar because there was only 7 grams of prot.) Nighttime eating sucks big time. I still need to get my head around that and I also need some more solid meat choices in this house for this purpose. Weight is 1.6 pounds over my happy threshhold so need to rein it back in...

QOTD: always looked forward to vacation as a family. One year my dad's company took us to disney, one year we went to DC. At the time I was a big pain in the butt saying I was tired of walking etc but looking back it was fun.We sometimes would get season passes to six flags (amusement park) and I LOVED that but once again complained I was hot, tired and my feet hurt so my mom and dad had to deal with the whining.

I made a cornish hen with herbs from the garden in it and veggies for dinner last night. It was yummy to the tummy.

Today's menu:

B: something solid-either egg whites and a protein cake or something like that/decaf/ reg

S:

L:

S:

D: baked tilapia!! yippie with veggies

S: NOT NUTS

Both nighttime eating and nuts can be a problem for me too. I have always had the former problem but the nut addiction started after WLS for some reason...

Nuts were not a problem for me in particular but it is really hard to say as I ate waaay too much all the time before...

nighttime eating is a hot mess sometimes though.

Hey Daisy. just a thought on your restorelax. It gives me GB pain or side pain sometimes, do you think that could be related?
