My surgery

Finally had my surgery Aug 15 after many false starts. I feel. Like a horse kicked me in the chest. I'm wondering if I'll be ready to return to work on Monday.

If you are having doubts right now then you probably wont be ready to go back to work. Maybe call your boss/office and explain how you feel? Can you work from home for a few days?

I've seen some return that quick- it baffles me that they were able to. I wasn't even allowed to drive for the first week- not that I was up for it.

It gets better- but I'd encourage taking more time if you can.

Congrats on your surgery! I took a week completely off work and then teleworked for three weeks. I needed the extra rest time to recover.

Don't pu**** If you are not ready, give it another week, especially if your job is physical or stressful.
