Good morning and happy Friday Eve! I'm working from home today. Last week I purchased some fleece lined leggings and merino wool socks. So I'm feeling quite cozy. If you are in cooler areas I highly recommended manned the merino socks!! I bought mine at Costco- 4 pairs for $17. I asked my daughter for another pack for Christmas. Oh and some fuzzy slippers with candy canes on them. Sears Canada is going out of business and I got a good deal there on the slippers and leggings. A lot of stuff is still priced high though.

QOTD: yesterday a lot of you mentioned online shopping. What are your favourite online stores? I have a prime membership with Amazon and recently started using subscribe and save for mio drops lol. It gave me the best price. I like shopping online for clothes from Old Navy because I'm really familiar with their sizing and it's so much easier to use than their store. I think as I get more used to other retailers regular sizes I will probably do more online shopping.

Accountability was awesome yesterday.

Menu

B: Greek yogurt

L: Chicken Salad

D: Chicken tacos - I will have mine without shells. Making the chicken in the instant pot. We are having company tonight.

S: Not sure - if I have a day like yesterday I may not need a snack.

Vitamins are good and weight is still hovering at 169.

Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

Good morning! Yep, I ended up paying almost $80 in parking yesterday. Boston is ridiculously expensive for the stupidest things sometimes.

Accountability: Perfect. I wasn't hungry so I skipped to planned meals and kept calories under 800 for the day.

QOTD: Literally everywhere.

Exercise: Already ran a mile this morning and will do another this evening. I LOVE MY TREADMILL! New goal--get faster! I am good on the endurance and can still do 3 miles, but Lord they are slow! Nobody's got time for that! LOL.

Vitamins: Oral (3 EZ melts Iron + 1 multi + 1 D3 + 1 B12) Patches (Iron + Multi)

  • High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)

Good morning! DH and I are off to Boston for a clinical trial appointment. Luckily THEY pay for the parking!

QOTD: Like JB, I shop for everything, everywhere on the internet. My favorites would be Amazon, LandsEnd, and possibly Old Navy of late (getting a size 0 in other low priced stores is not easy - strange to be saying this...).

1 year, 8 months post-op (maintenance).

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: ham and cheese

D: Leftover veal parmigiana (had 1/3 last night so I have 2 more meals)

S: yogurt

I use Old Navy for small sizes too. I find that most stores only stock down to a 4. I wear a 4 in many brands, but if I wear a 2 or even a 0 anywhere they are much harder to find.

I went from not being able to find clothing to fit me, to not being able to find clothing to fit me. Now that I'm not 118 (and 130) it is easier.

Good morning :)

Today I'm going out for lunch with a coworker so I'm looking forward to that. I'm seriously considering taking tomorrow off as it has been a slow week and there is a presentation at school that might be potentially interesting. This weekend we don't have a lot planned so hopefully we can catch up on sleep and just relax.

QOTD: I personally like Amazon as well, but I wish we could get more selection. I usually also buy things from the Bay and Walmart if I can. I used to buy things from Sears, especially around Christmas, but the website is gone already. I sometimes but from specialty places for vitamins, food, and my SF Torani syrups.

Post-op two years, eight months.

Breakfast - protein bar (still need to go shopping)

Snack - egg, bacon jerky

Lunch - restaurant so food tbd

Snack - turkey pepperoni

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

Good morning Teena and menu folks! It isn't as cold here today so I may get out and do a walk at lunchtime. I also have deep water aerobics tonight which is fun.

I had a Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test yesterday and my base level calories are over 1700. That seems really high, but it does mean that I am okay eating more. The problem is that I am still having problems even getting 1000 calories most days. I just can't eat that much, but I will keep trying since I don't want to keep losing weight at this point.

QOTD: I do alot of my shopping online. I regularly order from JCPenneys, Kohls and Amazon. I also order my vitamins and protein shakes from LuckyVitamin so I order from them pretty often.

Menu:

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, chicken

Snack: Lemonade protein shake

Lunch: Turkey breast, veg of some sort

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple

Dinner: BBQ chicken breast, broccoli slaw

Exercise: long walk, deep water aerobics
