Good morning Menu Crew! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My accountability was pretty good. On track both days and the scale rewarded me by being up 2 lbs.

QOTD: Not sure if everyone saw my post last week but we will do 5 days of gratitude and photo Friday will be what you're most thankful for. For at least the first couple of days we will focus on NSVs. Hope everyone had fun with this and thank you Cynthia for the suggestion!

For day one I have to say I love my mobility. I never felt that my obesity held me back all that much until I lost weight. Now I'm amazed how much easier my workouts are, how easy it is to go from the basement to the upstairs or spend a whole day at the mall.

Menu: I'm so disorganized this morning. So I'm buying breakfast and lunch at the cafeteria. I'm glad there are lots of healthy options.

B: Fried egg and 2 strips of bacon

L: Not sure what the Protein option is at work today but there are usually lots of options.

D: Butter Chicken

S: Pumpkin Spice Greek yogurt

Have a great day everyone!!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

Good morning Teena and menu folks! Thanks for this thanks-giving week. It is great to focus on the wonderful things that I have.

I am headed for my mammogram and ultrasound in a few minutes and crossing my fingers that all goes well. I will keep you posted.

QOTD: I am grateful for my medical team, both from my surgery and for my other doctors. They have been so supportive through bad health and good. They have definitely become my cheerleaders and are very happy for my changes in health.

Menu:

Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 oz ham

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake

Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage, baby carrots

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple

Dinner: pork chops

Exercise: With my appointments today I may not get in any exercise time. I'd like to swim this evening if I can.

Good luck - hopefully all goes well. I've had several times when I was called back for ultrasounds and one biopsy, but they have all been nothing.

Good morning from Fredericksburg VA! We drove here from Massachusetts yesterday on our way to Florida. Today we drive to Charleston SC and stay for 2 nights. I ate totally on my plan yesterday which I never had time to post as I was getting ready to leave in the morning. Then driving all day kept me pretty busy so there was no time to eat off plan.

QOTD: I am grateful that the only medication I have to take now is the lowest dose for BP. I was on the highest dose and my BP couldn't be brought down to acceptable levels (plus I had cholesterol medication and a PPI, neither of which are needed now). I was also pre-diabetic so something to treat that was in my near future if I didn't do something.

1 year, 8 months post-op (maintenance).

B: probably scrambled eggs (motel breakfast)

L: tuna fish, pickles and cottage cheese

D: ? (In Charleston)

S: cheese sticks or almonds

Good morning!

QOTD: I am so grateful for this surgery and how it brought Grim into my life. I mean, can you imagine a better reason to have gone through all the struggles of obesity and weight loss?

Accountability: WHOMP WHOMP. Bad weekend!
