I know I have posted in the past about NSVs. But they do help with the weight loss head games we can play with ourselves.
When the scale doesn't move for days.
Well tonight I had opening night for a play I am in. I never have set foot on a stage other than to graduate.
I had some lines and was in the dancing numbers. I plan on taking some dance lessons after the holidays.
It was so much fun.
I think this picture of me shows the changes we can make after surgery and focusing on ourselves.
I too am a beginner. I am about to be in month 3 of my 6 month supervised diet. I've had clearances from cardio, pulmonary, psych eval, and my surgeon did an EGD. I should be looking at surgery sometime in the spring. I am 5'4" and sw was 278. Cw is 265.planning on RNY. I am learning lots by reading the journeys of others here. Lots of luck on your journey!
Surgery 05-08-18 hw 317, consult wt 278, surgery weight 252. M1 -20, M2-5, M3-8, M4-6
Me too! Not to hijack this amazing post but I'm looking at probably Jan for surgery.
Back to the OP- this is gorgeous! I have really lapsed in self care the last couple years- I want to use your example as motivation for success on and especially off the scale ?
You look great! The play sounds like a lot of fun; kudos for trying something new and exciting!
