Whatâ??s on your Wednesday menu RNYers?

Good morning from a very chilly Southern Ontario! I checked and the temp is 5 degrees Fahrenheit and -13 with wind chill. In Celsius arts -15 and -25. It is just plain cold. I?m basically wearing a whole other outfit under my clothes today.

I'm meeting a group of co-workers for lunch today. We try to get together a couple of times a year and I think the last time was in May. I worked in their department a few years ago and they're an awesome group.

QOTD: Do you do Christmas cards? We do and I haven't even started them yet. That has to get done this weekend. After cleaning up the rec room- it became a catch all when we moved in and it really needs some attention. I want it to be a usable space before Christmas.

Menu:

B: Fried egg and 2 slices of bacon

L: Not sure- we are going to a restaurant called Milestones so I will pick something protein forward for sure.

D: Also not sure. It's our bible study night which means something quick.

Exercise will be happening later. Almost forgot- Accountability was pretty decent yesterday. Water intake was low so will work on that today

Vitamins will be taken and water on point.

Good morning Teena and menu folks! It's cold here too and windy. I bundled up but forgot to switch my gloves to the pockets of my heavier coat, so my hands are freezing. I am sitting here sipping some hot coffee and trying to warm up.

Today is our office holiday party. I brought a ham so I know that there will be something protein forward for me to eat. I know that I will have a few bits and bites of extras, but I am okay with that and will make sure that I have my protein first. I am also helping with decorating, setup and cleanup so I won't get in alot of actual work today. But that's okay.

QOTD: I did my Christmas cards early this year and got them done. I don't always manage it, but I did this year. I do most of my cards for folks in the office so I don't have to mail them. I still have my MIL's package to mail, but that is a pain because it requires standing in line at the PO.

Menu:

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey sausage

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake

Lunch: ham and stuff

Snack: more ham

Dinner: turkey breast, broccoli slaw

Exercise: short walk, swimming

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.

Morning all! We have a "real feel" of 14F as a high in Boston today! I usually take the train and walk a few miles on Wednesdays but I chickened out and drove to avoid the wind and freezing temps.

QOTD: Grim and I took a class in letterpress cards about a month ago at a real working Shaker Village in Maine, and we made some really beautiful handmade holiday cards! I love them :) We got them in the mail on Monday, so I am feeling quite pleased with myself!

Oh my gosh, I don't know how you folks handle that kind of crazy cold! God bless you! It's 29 degrees here and that is bone chilling for us in the south.

QOTD: Yep I do cards and nope they're not done yet. I normally have a week of vacation the last week of November and that's when I get them done but this year I had to break up my vacation weeks to go to all the Dr visits and procedures required in prep for surgery. But I'm not whining, lol. I've packed up my cards to take to work and will work on them when I get a minute or two.

Calorie count was right on track yesterday and today will be too. Go for my 3rd month weigh in with my PVP tomorrow.

Now to get showered and dressed like Randy in the christmas story movie, hehehe.

I used to live in the south (NC). When it got cold there, it felt really cold, because it's humid all year 'round. Up here in the upper Midwest, summers are humid, but winters are really dry - so the cold doesn't seem as intense as it did in the south (that is, given the same temperature. Of course, when it's below zero up here, that's really freaking cold!!!)

I grew up in Nebraska and have lived in the south for so long, I doubt I could handle the winters. Several of my family members live here, Tennessee, and Louisiana and my aunt who lives in council bluffs sd during the hurricane season, 'I just wish everyone would move back!"
