It's freezing cold out again this morning (-2 at the moment), but I'm going to try to venture out shortly for coffee and meditation class. I'm making chili this afternoon for a New Year's Day brunch tomorrow. Other than that....????

S: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla latte shake
L: either chicken salad in a Flat Out wrap or a regular salad with diced chicken breast on it
D: either chili or meatballs
probably another yogurt or a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie later
Morning! I feel like I'm off to a slow start today but my run is done, and I've been to the market for a few things. Making breakfast for the teens now, then I'll make my breakfast. I've been sipping on hot cocoa, sugar free except for 1tbs of regular powder i add to the sugar free to make it more chocolaty.
No plans today. My thighs are aching so I think I need to ice them. I forgot to tape my toe for my run so that'll hurt today too.
Weight today is ever so slightly down. I had a perfect day yesterday and my mind wants the reward for that to be several pounds gone. I have to remember those days are gone, now only consistent effort will get me anywhere.

Good morning. I am still in bed! This is the absolute latest I have ever been in bed since I was a teenager. But I am still super sick and totally overdid it yesterday. I did accomplish my goal of buying a new car, though! SO excited :) I pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm still in bed too as it turns out I have the flu--even though I got a flu shot like I do each year. I had been achy the last couple days but chalked it up to the cold temps and my RA. I got laundry done yesterday and decided to take Lily out for a couple miles since the next 3 or 4 days are to be ungodly cold. I was feeling really bad when we got back and didn't even feel like lunch. Then the shivering started and all the other symptoms too. So I'm resting and sipping liquids and trying to recuperate. No exercise today and probably no food either except possibly some broth. Take care all and stay warm.
