I'm posting on behalf of my husband who gets a monthly vitamin subscription from BariActive. His subscription came with a lot of extra supplements he doesnt (currently anyway) use or need based on his lab work. What should we do with them? Wed love to give them to people who can use them (any of you for example) but if for any reason thats not allowed, were not sure what to do with them. Can they possibly be donated anywhere? Hate to just toss them. It should be noted that technically they are a prescription so they do have prescription labels on the boxes, but they are just vitamins. We just run them through insurance so hence the prescription.

I also have extra vitamins from Bari Active also. They sent me chewables when I use tablets and sent me the tablets and had me keep the chewables. I have 2 months of Iron, multi vitamin, and calcium/D3. Also have some open. I don't know what to do with mine.

He uses the chewables, but we have about 3-4 months worth of B12 (weekly nasal spray), iron/vitamin C, and Calcium with D3 and Magnsium. All are still sealed.

I could really use the vitamins. I'm only using chewables now.

Did they send him an excessive amount or did he change brands?

I guess he has a subscription bundle with them because he couldn't JUST get a subscription on the multivitamin, apparently. So they send him the other stuff even though at this point he doesn't need it. And even then, he's still about 3 months ahead (has 3 completely unopened packages from them currently) because they have a shorter subscription cycle.

If you are willing to mail to people, if you list them, I'm sure someone would take them. If you go on the menu thread might be better to list with people you are more familiar with....

She means the "what's on your menu" post that goes up every day on the RNY board :) check it out, it's a great way to see what people are eating at different stages and to get to know each other
