What's on your menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and menu Crew! This weekend will be busy! Gym after work tonight, tomorrow is Ryleys Senior Night for Hockey, my parents are flying in today from Florida to surprise him and attend the game and banquet, Ryley will be very surprised. He will not join us when we go to visit my folks in Florida this year as he is heading to Scotland and Ireland on a school trip during spring break , he will be super happy to see them!

QOTD - My Grandfather Duffy - he survived 5 major battles in WW2 including DDay and died at the age of 59 from a heart attack. He died on 02/06/1982. I will never forget that day. I was at a hockey tourney in Massena NY and usually my Grandparents came to the games and tourneys, my grandfather was not feeling well so they did not attend. I was bowling with my friends and when I got back to the Hotel my folks were gone, I stayed with friends and was told that my grandfather was sick but ok and my folks had to go to see him in the Hospital...I could tell by the faces of the parents on the team it was not good. I played my heart out! On the way home we stopped at a restaurant to eat and there were some members of another one of the teams in our organization there, a father from the other team walked up to me and said I am sorry to hear about your grandfather...the group I was with shot him daggers and he stopped...but I knew...the 2 hour drive hoime was so tough, I cried to myself most of the way and the car was eerily quiet. my grandfather was a special man in my life and I think about him daily, he would have loved my Kids!
