What's on your menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
Hi all-
Busy weekend ahead. Today is work then will run out to get TP and paper towels and DH and I MAY meet for dinner. OR I will come back and cook. Got some awesome meat at grocery this week. Chicken patty's, stuffed chicken breast, and pork loin.
Saturday DH and I signed up for this couples yoga class. DH has never been so this is a huge deal for him. I thought for vday we would do something other than eat a meal together? Hopefully enough people signup and we can go. Then after that we are meeting someone that wants to buy our baby camper. We will see probably another tire kicker. Sunday we are renting a little covered uhaul (it is supposed to start raining for another 2 days here starting sat.) and getting some laminate flooring for our downstairs house. A guy is replacing his flooring and sold us 700 sq feet of really pretty 12mm laminate with backing for $250! what a bargain. so we are going to grab it asap. carpet and doggies don't mix!
QOTD: Even though one was mean sometimes I would choose both my grandma's. My mom's mom liked to tel me I was fat all the time when she herself was fat. it kind of damaged me as a child, but I learned how to be thrifty from her. we would go to the flea market on Saturday (in her mercedes no less) and bargain for .10 for something they wanted .25 for. It cracks me up thinking about it. My dad's mom was a sweety, they took us to the arcade and to eat pizza when we visited. She also let us have pringles and sandwiches and would show me the label and say, you only get 10 it says right here. I love her for that. she was trying to teach me correctly at a young age about portion control and here I was a STARVING child or at least I thought I was!!

Your mailman won't come down your driveway? Lol. Crazy. We live in a subdivision so our driveway isn't very long but ours stands at the end and throws packages on our porch. We finally got them to move that carrier elsewhere. I actually opened the door one day as one was coming flying at me.
Im going to try to find one of the Trader Joe's in Atlanta this weekend. My daughter has a winterguard competition in Kennesaw tomorrow so we're going to bring a cooler and stop en route ?

QOTD: I would bring back my beautiful mother who died a few years ago at age 82. I miss her terribly. Here is a picture of her:
Thank you so much to everyone who commented and gave me your support about my dizziness and double vision yesterday. I did get in to see the doctor. She doesn't think the vertigo is related at all to the double vision, so I have a follow-up appointment on Monday with the eye doctor. The dizziness / vertigo is caused by crystals in my ears getting lodged in the wrong canal and the doctor sent me over to Physical Therapy. (I guess this is a pretty common cause of vertigo). The physical therapist worked to dislodge the crystals by lying me down suddenly on my side and turning me from side to side. Then he put pulsing pads on my neck and a heating pad for a while and then gave me a (wonderful) neck massage because my neck had knots in it. I go back for more P.T. treatment today at 11 am.

Photo Friday: I got to spend some time with my brother and sister-in-law from Virginia and their two boys last weekend. They were back for my sister-in-law's mother's funeral.
