Hey All, long time no "see" I hope everyone is doing well. Mine is a story old as time, so I'm not going to get into it. But I am going to try and come here more often and read/post!

QOTD: I am not a very sentimental person when it comes to possessions. BUT I do have all of my grandmother's straight knitting needles in the containers she kept them in, I dont ever knit with straight needles, but I cant give them away. Some day when I have a craft room, they will be displayed somehow.

2 years 11 months since surgery

I need a mind and body reset so very badly, so I am having protein shakes during work today, and will have to grab a salad from the grocery store salad bar before class tonight for dinner.

Good Morning! Daisy, sorry you have been having issues with migraines and really hope that you find relief soon. Our weekend was good, spent Saturday at the coast and did get my tattoo (I will post the pic on Friday) and yesterday was catch up on errands day. I am glad I decided to take the whole day off on Friday because at Em's eye doc appt they ended up dilating her eyes so she was not able to go to school after that.

Accountability: The weekend was not bad, a few extra things here and there but nothing "off-plan". Although I am not doing CAMAW (my digestive system just could not handle that right now) I plan to do away with the BLTs and extra "snacks" in the evening this week.

QOTD: I love the tablecloth and it's meaning...so special. I have a stuffed animal "doggie" that I got in NY when we went to visit my grandparents when I was probably 5 or 6.

Time since surgery: 3 years 6 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Feta roasted red pepper dip on low carb pita and Carbmaster yogurt

D: Homemade smoked sausage, cauliflower "mac and cheese" , and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1182 Protein:108 Carbs:76 Fat:54

Have a great one!

Mornin' All!

my brother is leaving tomorrow morning. I'll miss him, but not all the unpredictable and restaurant eating. Looking forward to getting back to more of a routine (and so is my body!). I'm off today - will probably meet up with my mom and brother in a bit for coffee, then..?? It's supposed to snow this afternoon & tonight, so I'll probably be home a chunk of the day.

QOTD: I guess I'm not that attached to any personal possessions. I'd be sad to let some of my stuff go, but I could still do it if I had to...

2 years 9 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1 T tahini mixed in, homemade blueberry/blackberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: ?? Something light. If I'm home (doubtful), probably chili

AS: ??

D: If home, then leftovers (either chicken shahi korma with no rice, or a Korean steak taco)

Good morning! The weekend was one for the books. For my birthday a few months ago, I received tickets to a Montreal Canadiens Alumni game, so I traveled to Sarnia, Ontario on Friday night for the game. It was so cool for a few family members and I to take it in, seeing some of my childhood heroes skate. They were just toying with the other team and it was very cool to see the flashes of skill here and there that took me back 30 years. Some of those guys still have some gas in the tank. Richard Sevigny (goalie) was amazing in the first period. He's 60 and still moving like a cat between the pipes. My Dad loved it as much as I did, though HIS heroes are mostly either too old to lace up, or already gone. Friday I had a new fridge delivered to the house, and I listed the old one and plugged it in as it was in the garage. I figured it would be there for a couple of months, and it was gone in 2 hours. That's a huge blessing, there wasn't much room in the garage with the yard stuff being hauled in there for the winter. Saturday I took the kids swimming, tried out a new wetsuit and it was pretty awesome (though I was caught off-guard at the added compression once I jumped in the water....I'd forgotten about that LOL. It was super tight but the water added to that). Fun couple of hours with the kids while my wife relaxed at home. She wasn't feeling great so it worked out well. Sunday I visited my grandpa in the home for a bit and took the kids to another hockey game. It's worth the trip to me, they love it!

Menu: Protein bar/coffee for breakfast, 1/2 cup tuna, 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese with chopped cucumbers for lunch, and the MS/AS is 1/2 cup ff greek with applesauce mixed in. Supper is a bit of a question mark tonight but plan forward.

QOTD: I have a couple of items that I really value. The first is a teddy bear that was given to my mom just before I was born. It's kinda mangled, missing half an ear and one arm, kinda gross looking but I keep it around. I dragged that little guy all over the farm. The other is an "Air Ford" model airplane from 1929, die cast. It belonged to my uncle, then my dad and I remember playing with it along with my hot-wheels when I was a kid. It sits on a shelf in my house. I don't have many other things as I tend not to hang on to "stufff" but those two things I keep.
