We are getting a stupid snow storm right now, I am DONE with snow and Winter. All my kids are at home...and now I have to work late because the lady I work with called out. So hopefully the kids can make it the day without killing each other or wrecking the house

QOTD: I am thankful for the fact that at least ONE of my kids is level headed and responsible so I am less worried about leaving them home.

2 years 11 months since surgery

Shakes shakes and more shakes (I use Syntrax Matrix milk chocolate powder). Dinner may be eggs.... Water and vitamins started

Last night I tried a new to me "recipe" for dinner, it was delicious. Softened cream cheese mixed with shredded cheddar and shredded colby jack, and granulated garlic. Top with cooked bacon. flatted out on parchment paper. Bake at 375 until crispy on the bottom.

The recipe calls for Jalapenos as well, but I am not a fan, so I left those off. I also used garlic SALT instead...but was way too heavy handed and it was super salty. So next time I will use just granulated garlic.

Morning menu peeps!

CAMAW continues to be a huge success for me and I feel so great about it! And the scale agrees! Yay! Again, realizing just how easy it is to add things I really just don't need. Total calories yesterday were 818. I hate to admit it, because I really didn't like using MFP before, but using it right now is really helping me stay on track. I'm trying to stay under 900 calories this week (and hopefully for a few weeks since I want to drop a few pounds just to get my cushion back under me), and it's nice to see the numbers in there.

QOTD: I needed this this morning! I am thankful for my new boss. I've worked for this company for almost 5 years and spent several of those with a boss that kept me in a corner, only giving me tiny amounts of work... while he 'protected' me through the many layoffs while the industry tanked - and I am thankful to him for that - he never allowed me to grow, learn, or explore other things. My new boss is really awesome in that, and my duties/expertise/confidence have all grown exponentially since I have been put under her.

And of course I'm thankful for my children... even if the 18yo senior is about to drive me bat**** crazy!!! And thankful for my husband, even when he drives me nuts... and thankful for my surgery, even when I struggle over the food... and so many other things in my life. I'm a very lucky person to have all that I do, and I'm thankful for all of it!

So I walked out this morning and forgot my food!!! YIKES! I do have one left from yesterday, so I'll use that this afternoon and go buy breakfast downstairs

B: 1 egg 3 pieces of bacon

L: 3 ounces of porkchop

S: I don't know. I will stop at a convenience store at lunch and probably pick up some beef jerky

D: Leftover taco meat 4 ounces with .5 ounces of cheese on top

S: There will be major amounts of decaf in my life... and I like it that way!

Water is always well over 100 ounces, and I am addicted to that as well!

Make great choices!
