Welcome to Monday. My weekend celebrating DD's 30th Birthday and Mothers Day was busy. I was exhausted yesterday after 5 hours of sleep the prior night but I feel recovered this morning. Today is yoga and a social event with the Alzheimer's support group. This is our easy day, as I have to go to appointments 1.5 hours away tomorrow and Wednesday (but am seeing some former co-workers both days as well).

QOTD: I think someone should invent a super dusting machine that sucks up all the dust in a house just by turning on a switch. Of course, the challenge would be avoiding sucking up light Knick-knacks and tissues too.

2 Years, 1.5 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad with pickles and cottage cheese

D: Probably leftover halibut... I could have leftover veal Parmesan but I may gave that to DH.

S: apple

I am obsessed with the houses that ave the built in vacuum cleaners. Not exactly what you are talking about, but super cool, right?

I agree - I never had one but I think they are cool. One of my best friends growing up had a house in New Seabury that had one and I helped her vacuum once because I was so intrigued.

Good morning :)

At the last minute DHs family decided to do brunch for mother's day... An hour away from our house. We pretty much ran out the door to make it. We also installed a new piece of countertop in one corner of our kitchen to give us more work space. It doesn't match but it will make life so much easier for the time being. Eventually we plan to gut our kitchen.

Today I'm going to meet a former coworker for lunch/coffee and pickup a few things on my way back. She is super outgoing and always made me laugh when I was working with her.

QOTD: when I was a kid I wanted to invent a camping tent where the air mattress was built in so you wouldn't ge****er in the bottom of your tent if it rained.

Post-op three years, two months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - oatmeal bites

Lunch - tbd at restaurant

Snack - apple and pb

Dinner - beef kabobs

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Good morning JB and menu crew. I had a crazy end to my week last week, I had to go to Montreal on Thursday and Friday and was not able to post on Friday. I hope everyone had a great weekend, hope all the Moms out there enjoyed their special day. I had a big surprise on Saturday night. I thought we were going to dinner with a couple of our friends, when we got to the restaurant it was filled with about 30 of my friends and my parents to celebrate my 50th birthday. I was shocked...my 50th Birthday keeps on giving.

Accountability - OK - I had chinese yesterday. Stayed away from rice, noodle and breaded items but did have some fired calamari...

QOTD - Disclamer..* Do not laugh* - Both of my kids did not enjoy potty traning when it came to going #2. They did not want to get doo doo on their hands, so they would use a roll of TP at a time. My thought was to develop a sort of TP glove that kids could use and ensure no messes on their fingers/hands. Shark Tank is a favorite show of mine, so many creative folks out there.

B - Protein bar

S - Caramel Apple pie greek yogurt

L - Ham chef salad

S- cheese stick

D - grilled ribeye and baked asparagus

S - salami and mozz roll

E - 3 mile run

Stay healthy my friends. Mike
