You have taken the first step by admitting you have a problem and seeking some help. Now take the next step. I agree with the other poster that some counseling would be a great idea. I have worked with one in the past and it really helped me get a grasp on what I was thinking and why I was acting the way I was. A lot of this journey really is in our minds. Also journaling has helped me. When I want to eat but shouldn't be hungry I will write about the thoughts going through my mind. Also I suspect if you are craving carbs it's because you are eating too many of them. Cut out the bread, pasta, crackers, etc and in a few days you will feel better. The only carbs I eat come from dairy, fruits and rarely veggies. I feel much better without them and don't crave them anymore either! If food left on your plate bothers you, when you get full then scrape the plate into the trash. You have the tool you need to win this battle and become the healthy person you deserve to be but it's all up to you. Only you can make the choices to help you succeed. Keep us posted.
