sorry to hear this has been a rough road for you, it has been for me too. I took zolfran and reglan for WEEKS because I was so nauseaus. It helped me A LOT!!! I hope it gets better for you soon.

I too am going to miss pizza, if you are going to have it try and make a healthy version, maybe a wheat english muffin bottom (if you can have it) toasted with pizza sauce and low fat cheese... I think we all have our OLD favorite foods and they helped us get to be overweight, so now we need new favorite foods. Well just think of it as LESSON LEARNED :)

I have been looking at recipies for people who have had gastric bypass and there are some out there that sound really good. I have found some that have pasta in them and when I asked my doctor he said pasta is a NO-NO. also any food that is over 5 grams of sugar or 5 grams of fat is a NO-NO except for natural foods like fresh fruit. I am very tired of eating the same old stuff but I am scared to try new things because of the "dumping", I do not want to experience that ever. I really need recipies that I can try. Thanks for your help....

Thank you all for your posts... I took every class I could before surgery, and read multiple books and talked to A LOT of people who had surgery before getting my surgery so I was very well informed, I guess I have just been fustrated so much lately because this has been a difficult road for me. I really appreciate all the support you guys are great!!

I am envious of the people who have had an easy time after surgery, I have not been lucky with this. I am now 7 weeks out and the last two weeks I have lost only 1 pound. I have not cheated at all, I do what I am susposed to do. I hope this does not continue. Any one else have this problem?

I am almost 6 weeks post op and ever since my surgery I have had the WORST time with constipation. I have tried eating baby prunes, benefiber, milk of magnesia. I have to find something that works... anyone have this problem and found a soultion?
