Well Here is an update an my health...today I had a bone scan and I will be having a lot of blood work next week and then on August 11 th I will be having the left hip replacement done, At Hartford Hospital. Because I have 7 rips and 3 spots that are grinding, then by the following weekend going into the rehab center ..after that I will be going home to improve and I will be going back to work the end of September. The Forever box has arrived in CT and it was full of interesting things...I took out a brown bead necklace, bracelet and earrings.
also gold earrings, and a tin of mango tea yummy!!! The necklace set came at the right time I needed something to match my outfit Thank you sooo much it will be going to OH next I hope you are waiting...

Hi everyone..Well first the great news I have lost 135 lbs..since 4/30/07 when I had the best surgery in my life..the lapband..I was going to have the sagging skin taken off but that has been put on hold because I am scheduled for a complete left hip replacement on Aug. 11th at Hartford Hospital.by Dr Mark Shekhman..So please say prayers for me...Then I will be out of work 6-8 weeks but I will be able to walk, sit, stand and lay down without all this pain..thanks for being there You folks are great.

Good luck and the Vet news...just so you know my package for you know who will be going out on Saturday...My day today started off rough my husband fell, could not breath spent 11 hours of hell in the ER but the good news is it is not his heart and he didn't break anything...He is anemic and he will be having other tests done to at 66 yrs. old he hates DRs so it's not easy to get him there but thank goodness he is ok bye for now love ya Joanneg

Hi I had my latest WOW moment on My 12th wedding anniversary when I got out of the car and my son (who I hadn't seen for almost 2 years) saw me...I saw him right after my lapband surgery then he moved away. He looked at me and then did the 2nd glance and then yelled Holy F^*(^*( **** I did not recognize my own mother...You look wonderful...He asked how much I have lost and Proudly I said 199 lbs I even walked 8 miles in the woods at a Boys Camp in Alpine, NJ were he is a camp ranger. I love my new life...

Thanks for the good wishes. Boy I didn't realize how bad I typed yesterday...I have bursitis, pinched nerve, and a muscle spasm all on my left shoulder. I am taking medication and it is making me groggy ...By the way I sent out my sp may package Talk to you soon

I am Thankful for my new life that my surgeon Dr.Tishler helped me find. I am thankful for my husband Lenny who goes with me to all Dr appointments and support meetings, for my 3 grown children and my 6 grandchildren who also support and encourage me to stick with the lapband. My co-workers and neighbors who also give me encouragement.My life is becoming so wonderful I never knew what I was missing until I find something else that I have not been able to do before and now it comes easy. Like today I did lawn & gardening I NEVER DID IT BEFORE because I felt bad being seen bending over outside...I did it an done of my neighbors asked my husband who the 'young thin lady' was doing yard work...IT WAS ME YEAH!!!

Hi Thanks for thinking of me..as of today I have a sharp, stinging pain on my right side by the port...I will be fine. I have lost 119 lbs as of Monday. Thanks again for thinking of me..
