Welcome to the Secret Pals site

The following is the basic rules of Secret Pals:

You fill out a questionnaire on your likes and dislikes, you get matched up with another secret pal, you
will be requested to contact your secret pal a few times a week and once a month by the 15th of

the month you will send a gift to your secret pal, your match will be for 3 months, then if you want to

continue in the secret pals, you will then be assigned another secret pal for the following months, you

have to be committed to the secret pals in order for it to succeed

The next session will be for Oct, Nov and Dec, the Sept session will be ending shortly, but the one

running the secret pal will post in the next couple of weeks and ask who wants to join for the next

round of the secret pals, at that time you can post again if you decide you want to get in for the next 3

month round

It is fun connecting to a new secret pal every three months, as long as each pal fulfills their role in the

game, if you don't you can be replaced or dropped from the secret pals, etc.

I don't know yet, we will have to wait and see, I throughtly enjoyed the SP because it gave you a

chance to meet new friends and also it was nice to get a surprise once or twice a month LOL,

hopefully someone will organize it,       I am too old, LOL

A secret pal is matched up with another secret pal and at first you don't know who has you until they reveal themselves to you LOL

You will fill in a questionaire and it will have questions for you to answer about yourself and your environment, so that when you are assigned a secret pal that pal will know something about you and vise versa, you will get a copy of your secret pal's questionaire.

You are secret pals for 3 months and if you continue in the secret pals, you will be assigned a different one the next quarter.

The rules are that you communicate with your secret pal and offer support or encouragement, at least once aweek if possible or when needed, it can be an email, snail mail etc.

You are obliged to send a package worth at least $10.00 value once a month by the 15th of the month to your secret pal for those three months.

After completing the 3 months, you can then sign up again for the next 3 months and will be matched up with a new secret pal etc.

You meet and get to know some great people when you participate in Secret Pals, receive encouragement and support, get some great gifts, that could be mementos of your wls or something that you collect or have an interest in.

Keep watching the site, as the April, May and June quarter is almost over and a notice will be on the site when another list will be set up and if you want to commit to the Secret Pals then you will get the info on how to join etc.

I am totally shocked on what went on, Dr Hollywood has some major issues.

Her words and issues are plain to everyone and anyone reading the posts will understand that it is not your fault it is hers and hers alone.

Keep your chin up, you have done a great job and it is certainly not your fault that some of the people that have signed up have not followed through with their job.

You have been doing a fantastic job, we don't blame you in the least of the people that are not living up to the rules, some people don't realize the extent that you work on this project to make it work and be successful.   

You deserve the best that life has for you and you certainly don't need addtional stress.

Just a short note to tell you that I once sent a gift card online from Starbucks for my secret pal and it worked out great, for me and for my secret pal as she liked Starbucks.

But because I didn't have a Starbucks close to me, I ordered the card online and had it shipped directly to my secret pal.
 
I advised her with an ecard of special envelope would be sent to her, and they allowed me to put a message with the gift card

I am sure that your secret pal would approve of a gift sent thru Amazon

I don't know if you have finished moving yet or if your internet is connected yet, just wanted to let you know that I have mailed your July gift on Saturday, Sept  04, 2010 and will be sending another one for the for August in a week, and your Sep gift in about a week after that.

It sounds strange to be sending your gifts so close together, but because I did not get you info until late, because of email problems, no fault of yours, and because we are from different countries there is a lack of quick delivery.  You should be getting your first gift in about two weeks.  Hope you have forwarded your mail from your old address and if possible update me with your new mailing address and will make sure the future shipments will be to the correct address.

When I try to send you any emails they all come back as undeliverable
