Husband on liquid diet

Hi, I am on my husband's page...he is having DS surgery in three days.  He is on a liquid diet.  (We are both obese and have been on this journey for several years.  When we first started it, we both lost wt during the six month program for insurance and then found out I was pregnant!)  I am finding it very hard to eat in front of him during this process.  I am actually trying to follow his diet other than eating one meal a day.  I am also very concerned about after his surgery when I am staying w/him at the hospital then of course at home when he has to be on the liquid diet...any thoughts on how to get past this?  We have a great relationship and I'm behind him on this 100%. I do not want to do anything to make it hard on him.

I so rarely post here, because it moves so slowly....Just curious how it's working out for him....and you?
