Riviera Maya?!

Hi Everyone! Looks like we don't have many posters here....I am traveling to the Riviera Maya the week before Easter. I am wondering if anyone has been there lately. We are staying at the Sandos Gala Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen. I have visited TripAdvisor.com, but wondered if anyone here has been there. Have a great night. I look forward to any replies! I went on a cruise to Playa del Carmen this time last year. It was nice, however, it doesn't compare to to other Caribbean destinations. There is a lot of European travelers there, make for a nice cultural mix. I enjoyed my self and it was relaxing. The sunsets are outstanding! Have a great time! I wasn't impressed by the snorkling in Cozumel. The weather was quite nice, cool in the mornings and warms up fast. Just go and enjoy yourself!
