Home remedy for Intertrigo (yeast infection in folds of skin?)
Glad to hear you're going to the doctor and not trying to treat this yourself. My late DH used to get horrible skin fold yeast infections, and he ended up with a systemic infection.
We used Gold Bond powder (the yellow container, I had to peel him off the ceiling when I used the kind in the green container) and that helped, a little. Also, a topical pain killer like Lanacaine might be useful for temporary relief.
