NSV: size 30 to size 14 jeans
Wearing my Land's End, heavy denim, non-stretch size 14 jeans today. Couldn't have gotten my toes in them the beginning of this year - I wore size 30 jeans and size 26 tops then. Now size 14 jeans, size 12 tops.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 135 - 139 lbs, BMI 20.5 - 21
Goal range: 140-144,BMI 21.3 - 22 (currently trying to gain back 5 pounds)
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Honestly, before surgery size 16s seemed sooooooo small. Now I'm imagining myself in 12s.

Either we're both nuts or it's perfectly normal. I'm not sure which one. Because I am the same way. I have a few 10's in my "old clothes collection" and trying them on right now makes me feel like I'll NEVER fit into them. But I also had the same experience with my old 16s, 14s, 12s, etc and I almost went through those sizes so fast that I didn't get to wear them all.
If I went to a store right now and tried on an 8, I'd think I was certifiably crazy to think I'd ever have a chance of fitting into them. I won't be able to believe it unless/until it happens.

I also started at a size 30 a year ago. When I had my psych eval, the psychologist asked me what I though the lowest size I could get to would be, and I said a 12, but my secret wish was to be a single digit. She said she saw no reason I couldn't be a 4 or a 6 (i'm only 5'3). I almost told her to put down the crack-pipe.
Yeah, she wasn't smoking, apparently. I'm there. Being a 4 on top and an 8 on the bottom, now, is almost surreal. Just wait, you'll see. It's entirely possible.
