Doesn't really taste like cheesecake however it definitely tastes like strawberry. If your looking for a cheesecake fix don't bother but if your looking for a pleasant tasting strawberry protein bar than this one is for you. I give it a thumbs up for taste  and a thumbs down  for false advertising (not cheesecake)P.S. I still just feel naughty eating these things. Its like its too good to be true. If you have an addictive personality I can see how these things could get you into trouble.   |

 Member Since: 07/22/09 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 2/10/12 6:34 pm Maria I can answer about the sugar alcohols in Quest bars, even though I haven't tried this one specifically. I have at most one bar/day, more like 3 bars/week. No effect at all. If anything, the sugar alcohol helps keep things moving along without needing stool softeners or the such. 5'9" All weight lost post-op. Goal weight determined by body composition testing.  |

Haven't tried the strawberry, but have the chocolate brownie and the peanut butter. They are pricy. I get mine on Amazon.   HW: 284: SW: 274: CW: 201.4  |

I had some sugar free candy (5 pieces of Werther's toffees) and the effects were NOT pleasant. But maybe there is more sugar alcohol in them. I'm interested in learning about new types of foods like this since I'm at the soft stage now. 5'3" Age 38 HW: 216 Month 1: 20.6 |
