Officially off diabetes meds!

Today I saw my PCP for a checkup. She was happy with my results thus far and took me off of all diabtetes meds. I just hope that I am in good enough shape by the time I get used to solids that the few carbs that I do eat don't ruin those numbers!

Anyways, it feels great to have her permission to not change anything right now. One less thing to worry about :)

That's great!! I was taken off of my meds early on after the LapBand and I remember how happy and bit scary it is. I have never looked back, and my AIC's come back showing I am pretty much a "normal" person now.

You will be there too!!

Wow! Isn't that what this journey is all about! Yay for you! I would be just tickled inside if that happened to me. (I was pre-diabetes prior to vsg, but not on any meds yet.) You just keep going the way you are going C, and you'll be lean and healthy in no time! Huge hug for your achievement!

I know what a terridic feeling that is. It almost dfeels like that alone made the surgery worthwhile. You keep that plan rocking and there are even better things ahead for you girl.

Omg... wow!

I leave for an hour and a half, and I come back to so many people cheering me on! You guys are amazing!

And yes, I totally agree that this alone makes all of it worth it... but I can't wait to see what else lies ahead lol!
