I was sleeved Tuesday I am a little sore but I feel fine.   They say my sleeve is swollen they couldn't see the fluid going down on the test so they are keeping me some extra nights. I just started clear liquids was on Ice chips yesterday and this morning.  But I am not feeling any restriction and don't know where to stop with the liquids or should I be?
I felt like crap and was knocked out on pain meds.

I had my surgery May 22nd so Im 3weeks post op. the first 2 days I didnt feel well. I kept questioning myself why did I do this.  I will say It does get better. each day is different. some days are better than others. just remember it is a process and a journey. you will be ok. Good luck and congrats.

Everyone is different but at one day out I had a lot of gas still making drinking a but painful. But I kept sipping and walking.  Most of my nausea was gone and I really felt better taking a shower.  My karget incision site was achy...and sneezing really burned. But it got better every day.  Hang in there!

Hey, glad to see you got it done! The first 23 hours for me were more about gas pain than incision pain. I had very little nausea, but plenty of trapped gas. Incisions will be sore but should not be intolerable. Best of luck...it gets better every day!

everyone always talks about gas pain and incision pain.  can you feel any pain in your actual stomach at all?  or is it not there.

I was trying as hard as I could to take a leak.  They wouldn't discharge me until I filled up their bottle (no catheter and everything down there was "paralyzed" so to speak).

Oh and getting used to sipping a shotglass of juice for 2 hours.

as for the bottle of urine, i did only one, after i over filled it, they said i was ok. i could've filled it twice, over     28 ounces,,,,
