Hey everybody!

12 hours post-op here in the land of Dr. Aceves.

Shockingly easy day.  I've had minor trips to the dentist involve more pain.

I was first up, went to the OR around 830, woke up in recovery around 11, back in my room at noon.

Did email and snoozed for a bit,had vitals taken a few times.  Around 4 I started walking and was encouraged to put on my own clothes.  I'm walking a bit each hour.. feeling just fine. I'm sure i'll be sore tomorrow when all the anesthesia wears off.... 

Dr. Aceves has been in twice to see me, and Dr. Campos, the nutritionist has as well.  All the nurses have been great and fun to try to chat with using mey 10 words of spanish.  Almost all of them spoke English but seem to be pleasantly surprised when a try to say something in spanish.

So far this exceeds my expectations in every way.

 Congrats!  My surgery was easy too!  I am having a lot of head hunger that I am fighting right now. 

Bueno!! My Spanish is very limited too. But congrats!!

 thanks everybody - i KNOW there will be highs and lows, bumps and victories to come.  But the boats are burned and there's no way forward but "Victory"

I was notified by Joyce Meyers and she was so much help and gave me all the information about the Sleeve, and how it would be perfect for me... She sent me a email with before and after pictures and her Daughter and Son-in-law got the sleeve after she did get the lap band... She was so much help and I am so happy to be saving my money as we speak to get the sleeve done...

 I called Dr. Aceves's office directly.  Their patient coordinator, Nina, lives in San Diego.  I found out about Dr. Aceves from a friend who is coming here in July, but three of his coworkers have had the sleeve here.  nothing more credible than people seeing refering each other with no financial gain involved.

There's a young woman here from Europe, accompanied by  a relative who had the procedure done 4 months ago...
