what's the best protein powder?

On my plan dr just wants me to eat until I feel restriction, theres no protein goal, but I'm planning on having a tummy tuck at the end of the year and need to build my protein up for healing.

So what is the best protein powder mix that is zero or low carb.

I prefer if its unflavored where I can mix it with other drinks but if not anything will do I guess

I bought Unjury unflavored, which has a flavor but if you mix it with chicken broth and a smudge of garlic is pretty palatable. It also goes pretty well with Diet V8 Splash Berry Blend.

I now have the Unjury Chocolate Splendor and Strawberry Sorbet. Deli****aste almost just like Nestle Quik chocolate and strawberry milk. I use the chocolate in my coffee in the a.m.

How much milk or water do you mix the chocolate or strawberry with?

For my protein cafe mocha in the morning I use 8oz of black coffee and 1/4 cup of skim.

8oz is the recommended liquid amount - milk or water. Otherwise it's pretty "strong".

It takes me about 3 hours to finish each drink. LOL

I agree unjury is good

I use a whey protein from GNC called Super Sport Performance Isolated Whey Protein (Cellucor) in Vanilla - it doesnt have a strong flavor but I mix it with my coffee and it's good.

1 scoop - 130 cal
Fat - .5 g
Carbs - 4g
Sugar - 1g
Protein - 30g

It's a very high quality whey protein and it's expensive but I like it a lot. The texture is such that it mixes very very well.

Syntrax mint cookie, my fav!!

I agree with EliseG, Syntrax Matrix is my favorite protein powder by far!  I have the Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cookies & Cream.  I've tried the Mint Cookie which is delicious as well.

Shntrax matrix is awesome!  Cheapest place I have found so far is netrition.com

Syntrax mint cookie! I've been using Unjury chicken soup flavor and their unflavored and they both have worked out okay for me. The chicken soup I mix with warm water and the unflavored I mix with diet cranberry juice.

I had yet to find a sweet kind that tickled my fancy until I finally received the mint cookie by Syntrax in the mail yesterday. It tastes like melted mint cookie ice cream, even looks like it has crushed cookie pieces in it. It will definitely help with my stubborn Ben & Jerry's withdrawals...
