Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Happy HuMp Day everyone!
I'm about to go on my morning walk.  I found another walking partner who walks fast.  She makes me keep up with her so it's all good!
I just figured out today that my sore muscles are not from the hike on Sunday but from the laps I have been doing in the pool.  I can barely lift my arms up!  Good sign I guess!!!


B: HB egg w/laughing cow bleu cheese wedge, turkey pepperoni crisps
S: Iced coffee with SF almond rocha syrup, splash of 1% milk
L: Lunch at Corner Bakery ... probably tuna salad scoop w/dry salad
S: frozen plain greek yogurt sweetened with CL lemonade
D: Mint Cookie protein shake with SF peppermint syrup, almond milk, blended with ice

Water: 5 cups so far
Vits: on track
Exercise: 25 minutes of brisk walking, 25 minutes of laps in the pool tonight!

I stole a zone bar. 

Im having a chipotle salad for lunch. 

For dinner - who knows. I'm pretty sure it will include a beer. 

Tonight I will be scrubbing a huge kitchen from top to bottom but I intend on spinning before I go home for some stress relief.

 Gurl, I wanna go spin with ya so I can have 3 beers.  Well, I prefer harder drinks.  3 shots of tequila maybe?  Or how about fluffed marshmallow vodka shots or the chocolate cake shots I fell in luv with thanks to Jennchap??
Ok, ok... I will pass & be good.  It was just a sweet thought.

I've been looking for this post today.  I was the one the other day that was so happy to find this. You don't know how much it helps.

B- Muscle milk cookie n creme  (not sure how much trying to finish the bottle by the end of the day)

L - progresso lentil soup

S- probably finishing the muscle milk

D- making turkey tacos for my son. ( mine will probably be without the shell)


water-- I'm trying
vitamins -just need to get in 2 more calcium chews
Exercise 35 min walk this morning. and will try to get another one in this evening.

There is another Jen on here who normally initiates this post but I am her back up.  So if she doesn't post by 1pm EST (10am PST which is my time) then I post for her.  This thread is helpful for me too & it helps me stay accountable.

MS: low fat cottage cheese

L: 3 turkey meatballs with 1/4 cup speghetti sauce and 1/8 cup 2% colby jack

S: hard boiled egg

D: meatloaf

exercise: boxing
water: on track
vits: calcium done but forgot my multi, taking that right now!

I've decided to get rid of my beloved fresh bing cherries. They have a high carb content because of the sugar... its a sad sad day...  :(

I seriously can't believe it's only Wednesday... I'm spending the weekend at the lake house again with hubs and a couple old friends I don't get to see very often so this week really can't go fast enough!

S: 1 oz beef jerky
L: chicken breast with laughing cow garlic and herb wedge
D: sliced turkey

water: 9 cups so far
vitamins: just one calcium dose to go
exercise: planned rest day, I have my support group after work but I'm feeling guilty about not exercising. Maybe some weight training and a walk if I don't get home too late.

You totally have a standing invite girl!!
It's beautiful, walk out on the back deck, go down 3 steps and you're on the dock. My favorite thing is to drive the boat into the middle of the lake and jump off.
The hot tub built into the deck isn't bad either

    

I'll move to the East Coast gurl, just to drive in your boat in the middle of the lake & jump off with you.
Can we hold hands????  Cuz I be ascared... lol

Although there's really only 3 good months out of the year that the lake house is fun for summer activities. But... there's always snowmobiling, ATVing, and bonfires on the ice in the winter time
I will totally hold your hand jumping off the boat, tha****er is deeep! LOL!

    

 Honestly I don't normally plan my meals, but here goes:

B: Mint Mocha Blended Ice Coffee (Made at home - blender only works on pulse so it takes a bit lol)
S: 2 links Jennie O Turkey Sausage
L: 2oz Roasted Turkey with Mustard on the side - and if I am not full (but probably will be) - A Spring River Farms Red Pepper Parmesan Thinkrisp
S: Cinnamon Vanilla Greek Yogurt (Homemade)
D: Homemade Chicken Veggie Soup with Added Unjury Chix Broth Protein Powder
Possible interim snack: Iced Coffee with Premier Protein and Caramel Torani SF.  

Water: working on it right now.  
Vitamins: done but for night time Vit. D - tho I may just go to the pool and soak up 20 mins of rays
Exercise: walking or dive in the pool.

L - 2 oz.. thin sliced ham deli meat; 1/2oz. manchego cheese, 6 cucumber slices, 4 small pickle slices
S - probably my daily quest bar
D - salmon burger (probably about 2.5 oz.); cucumber/tomato salad
S - who knows?

W - yep
V - on track
E - hot here - probably going to swim after work

L: hb egg and half piece of turkey sausage
S: greek yogurt 
D: grilled chicken and veggies

Water: 51 oz so far
Vits: I gotta buy one of those pill box things!!!
Exercise: my 100 lb dog took me on a 3 mile jog/drag and tonight its 45 min of elliptical 

5 lbs from 100 lbs loss - so ready to see it on the scale...especially after this 3 week stall I just came out of!!!
