Preops - Pics???

Preops, including myself, do you like to see before after pics???
Doesn't it make you feel better seeing those postopers??

Or is it just me???
When someone posts 3months, 6months, goal, etc....
I am sooooo eager to SEE the results!!!
Its so agitating when there are none :( lol
I have not figured out how to upload pics.... I'm only 3 weeks out this week.... I hope to learn how to post pics and navigate oh a little better before I return to work next month

It takes some getting used to, that's for sure!
It took me a long while to upload a main profile pic lol.

My son said it I used the computer it would be much easier. So I plan on doing that when I get my date
Prior to surgery, that is what kept me focused and much less scared. It gave me so much hope for myself knowing that this surgery works if you follow the rules, lol. This is why every month for the past 16 months, I upload my before and most current hoping that it helps all the pre ops the way that I was inspired by those before me and will continue to do so! Good luck to you! You will be one of those on the losers bench soon and posting your pics too!

If you fear nothing, then you love nothing. If you love nothing, what joy can there be in life?

I agree!
It helps me 'feel' that there is SUCCESS after such a hard decision!

TY & soon enough I will be parked right next to you on that losers bench lol
I love seeing the photos. It helps me focus on the reason for doing this when I begin to have second thoughts about having surgery, about whether I can make the changes needed...I see the photos and I can picture it being me, and then I get impatient. LOL

Exactly!! :)
Yup .. if you worked that hard and succeeded .. show it off!

Agreed!!!!! :)

Oh and I meant to say it is real easy to insert pics into your posts. All you have to do is copy and paste the picture. : )

They are very motivating......like I said in my six month pictures.....I find myself having no problem posing for pictures now and I am in A LOT more.  I used to hide when the camera came out.

When I was pre op I was always looking at pictures of people at goal or looking at videos on Youtube....it helped keep me strong while I fought to get the surgery.

No more peek-a-boo shots  as my friends say LOL
i guess ive been waitin to get that final after lol i post my progression in my pics on my profile...but tis nice to see peoples progression...n i find it is a big help to photo journal because in those discouraging times u feel your not getting anywhere the pics help turn u around ;)

The pics encourage yourself as well as us pre'bies lol
I'm right there with ya! I have all my appointments lined up but unfortunately my surgeon is out for 6 weeks while her daughter has surgery so that is prolonging my consultation. I am so impatient. I am ready to be sleeved and start my new life! I have yet to have second thoughts and I love seeing everyone's follow up posts because it just gives me that much more encouragement! I love seeing the posts with pics!
