Preop response:

My surgeon said never take gummy. Chewable / liquid at first & whole form months later.

How many months later for whole pills?? My Docs NP said I would never be able to take them has to be chewable or liquid which neither of them work for me makes me gag, so I really haven't been taking them at all and she knows that

My Dr also said no gummies. there reasoning was that they dont have enough of what we need. :)

Mine also says no gummies but I can't remeber his reasoning.  I think it has to do with our sleeve not being able to break them down which inhibits absorption.

I take gummies and my labs are stellar, but all surgeons are different with their post op requirements.

Chewable made me vomit after surgery.  Doc told me to take gummies.  It is what I live off of.

My surgeon said No gummies ever because we don't create enough stomach acid to digest them properly and they can create a blockage.

While I love gummies (can you say dessert?lol) they have a ton of carbs (compared to non gummie) and since most of us eat so few carbs, the amount is pretty considerable in my overal nutritional day Oh and my NUT says no.
