How soon can you start taking gummy vitamins after surgery?

Preop response:

My surgeon said never take gummy. Chewable / liquid at first & whole form months later.

mine also said NEVER gummy...liquid & chewables at first then only liquid chewable or gelcaps after

How many months later for whole pills?? My Docs NP said I would never be able to take them has to be chewable or liquid which neither of them work for me makes me gag, so I really haven't been taking them at all and she knows that

My Dr also said no gummies. there reasoning was that they dont have enough of what we need. :)

Mine also says no gummies but I can't remeber his reasoning. I think it has to do with our sleeve not being able to break them down which inhibits absorption.

I take gummies and my labs are stellar, but all surgeons are different with their post op requirements.

High weight: 276

Lowest weight: 155.2

Currently : 159-164

What types of gummies do you take?? where do you get them from? Is it Multi and calcium citrate?? I so need some I'm not taking anything b/c the liquid and chewable make me gag! right now I would try just for the hell of it!
