Goal!! I made it! :) (pics)
Yay! I made it!! Things have really slowed down since February, and I'll admit I wasn't working at it too hard. :) Turns out I am good at maintaining my weight, though, haha. I've been hovering a pound or two over goal for months.
But here I am!! I'm planning to continue losing a few more pounds, but my emphasis now is on running and exercising. I did my first half-marathon on 7/15, and I am doing 5Ks in August and September with my daughter (13yo, who also has really struggled with obesity), and another half-marathon in October.
VSG surgery was life-altering for me. Unquestionably the best decision I ever made for my health. Thank you all for your love and support here - there were so many times that my OH friends and this forum in general helped me, held me up, pushed me on, and kept me going. So grateful for that.
Goal - 139 pounds today
starting weight - 263 pounds
one year collage
Thanks again!!

What an amazing example you are setting, not only for us, your peers, but for your daughter. What a great mom you are to include her in your journey to health. It is wonderful to know that while you are continuing to improve your health, you are motivating her to improve hers too! Good luck on all that running!!
