Here is a tool from obesity help. This is very different from person to person. I'm at four months am four pounds away from what this calculator said. My weight loss didn't go by the monthly amounts they showed but it's pretty close.

Everyone is going to tell you what you already know - everyone is different. The only certainty is that if you do what you're supposed to the weight will have no choice but to go. That said, I came upon a post awhile back that I found very reassuring. Some people lose faster, of course, but I find it comforting to know that I'm reasonably on track.

You're most welcome. I used to get discouraged because other people seem to lose much faster than me. That post encourages me because regardless of how anyone else is doing, I'm within normal parameters.
I still look at other people's tickers and celebrate with them, but I don't compare any more. My job is to control what I can control - what I put in my mouth and getting off my bum. It took a lot of the pressure off when I accepted that.

Thank you for sharing that Kelly-Anne, its nice to have as a reference but you are absolutely right. I am not in competition with anyone to lose "x" amount of weight, I am in this to learn lifelong habits. Losing weight is obviously a huge plus but I know I didn't gain all this weight in 2 weeks and I am different from everyone else :)
