Fitbit Rant

Nothing can change this but I just need to vent.

I spent this morning working my buns off in the yard only to find I wasn't wearing my fitbit and so none of it counts! Yes, I know it counts to my body, but I want credit, darn it!

Now it won't sync. This happens all the time with Mac and eventually it will finally sync but I have done everything trying to get it to sync and now just need to scream and stomp a bit.

SCREAM.

STOMP.

Okay, I feel better.

Mine was missing a few days and I was about to buy a new one, but luckily found it. That's the good news!

The yard work wouldn't have registered as much.  Better to go onto the fitbit portal and log it there!  (you'll get the credit that way)

Sorry it doesn't sync well with your mac.  The new version (same price) will sync with smart phones (it says on the website - I don't have one!)

I don't have an iPhone or smart phone.  My husband does and I considered waiting before buying his, but his birthday is this week so I went ahead and got him an ultra like mine.

The yard work would have registered because I was hauling bags of heavy stuff around and doing a lot of walking, moving. Not on my knees or anything.  It probably would have given me credit for some stairs, anyway. It usually does when I'm really exerting myself. Weird.

Are you talking about the fitbit dashboard?  That's how I always sync/update.  I have to plug my USB in and hook up to it, usually.  And even then it only works sometimes.

Yes - talking about the dashboard. Click log activity and you can enter your yard work. They will probably even have one for heavy yard activity.

You don't need to sync to log the activity.

I keep my fitbit clipped to my bra and today I put it through the wash.  Woops.   And it survived!  I had to plug it back on my USB charger but it booted up fine.
