Back on Track
Today I am starting out by going back to what worked in the beginning. I wonder why I am not losing weight like I did at the beginning right after surgery and yet I'm not doing what I used to do back then. I'm eating differently. And eating more.
So it's back to basics. 60-80 grams of protein, 600-800 calories a day. Water, water, water! Tracking my food on MFP. Taking my vitamins. Walking/running for 1 hour, M-F. These are the things I need to do to be successful.
I have just over 100lbs to go and I want this next year to be the year I make my goal. I can do this! I just need to reinvigorate myself with the feelings I had right after surgery. It was so easy then, because I couldn't eat anything. Now I have to pay attention. I still have restriction, but I've learned ways around it. I need to use my sleeve for what it was intended and I'll see results. I know I will because so many people follow this plan and are successful.
YOU CAN DO iT!
I was in the SAME boat! I was not loosing much at all. only 3-5 pounds a month. I contacted a vet on here who has really been helping me and walking me through this. I have been doing now what you are doing. 600-800 cal. 40 or less carbs 70 or more protein. Although I struggle still to get the protein up and have had a couple of slips ups, I have done very well over all. In the last week, I have lost 4 pounds. I believe CONSISTENCY is the key! Weekends are hard for me and would often diet Mond through Fri. and blow it to He#$ on the weekend. We have to keep going, even when we have "slip ups" .
