6 Month Update w/ Pics

Yesterday marked 6 months since I had my sleeve!  It seems like it was just yesterday.  My labs came back awesome and my surgeon is super happy with my progress.  I surpassed my 6 month goals and they even used the words "banner child".  So needless to say I'm pretty proud of myself at the moment!

I'm currently down 115 lbs since surgery for a total of 67% excess weight lost.  The only change so far is that my original goal of 150 is under scrutiny by my surgeon's NP because they think it might be TOO thin.  So they want me to get to 170 by my 9 month appointment and will re-evaluate my goal then based on my stats and how I look.  I'm not changing my final goal yet until I know for sure what's the best for me healthwise.

This was the best decision I have ever made for myself.  I can't be any more grateful to the people on these forums and my surgeon's office for guiding me along the way.  If you are on the fence about surgery - PLEASE make that leap of faith for yourself.  I can't wait to see where I will be after 1 year post op!

Congratulations!!!  You are doing awesomely!!  Almost 70% of your excess weight in a mere 6 months.  WOW!  Your kids are adorable, but that gator freaks me out, taped Jaws or not.  Yikes!
