One Year Surgiversary! (with pics)
(forgot to add I am a day late on this. :) )
I made it to the one year point. I can't believe it. My life is actually crazy different now. Instead of a person going through the motions of life I am an active participant. One of the biggest changes is that I feel very confident in my looks and make an effort every single day to look my best when I walk out the door.
I try to eat non processed foods, protein rich whole foods. The only processed type foods I consume for the most part is my SF Coffeemate for my morning coffee and I use MIO to flavor my water so I am sure to get my fluids in every day. Otherwise it's generally meats, cheeses, veggies, that kind of thing. I eat some greek yogurt but not a ton. I have lost 96 pounds so far and my weight loss has significantly slowed down in the past three months and almost a standstill the past few weeks.
I have confidence I can kick it back into gear with more determination on my carb and calorie intake.
Anyway, just checking in to encourage anyone thinking about this process. It's the biggest blessing I have had in a very long time to be able to have this surgery. It was very rough the first month or so with pain and fatigue but after that it got so much better. My BMI is now in the "overweight" category not "obese" which makes me very happy.

You are Gorgeous and congratulations! You look absolutely GREAT! SO happy for you
Awesome job! Your comment about looking your best every time you leave the house really resonated with me! This is true for me too. I really love how confident I feel about myself now. Love being able to wear cute clothes and know that people are looking at me and thinking of me in a positive way. Congratulations...you look amazing.
