Easter plan
Easter is tomorrow and I am making a plan. Most of us either have the holiday at our home or go to a relative's. My daughter is serving brunch so that is easy for me. I will also bring sleeve friendly foods with me. I think generally with many people it is not noticed what an individual eats.
I also had my 9 month check up this week. All labs were normal- only 7 lbs to go til goal. As everyone knows , those last few like to hang on- they won't win!
I am wearing a dress tomorrow- a rarity for me. Yay sleeve!
I am having family over for Easter supper. 13 people total, and 5 of those are from my household, so it's a small group. My plate will have ham, a deviled egg and I might splurge for a bite or two of green bean casserole if I can fit it after the ham and egg.
Glad to hear of your good checkup. I am only 3 months out and go for a check up this week.
My sister is making roast lamb shanks and vegetables, I'm bringing the salad, and another family is bringing the desert. I will stick with the lamb and a little bit of my salad greens (my pre-op diet is low carb), and decline the desert (gracefully, I hope!). Looking forward to a fun afternoon with family and friends, and to remembering that I am not eating Easter candy this year.
