I don't feel like I'm eating enough food. My surgery was 7/8. I do liquids and soft foods. I usually only eat twice a day. Each time I only eat a few bites. Also, I sip water and protein throughout the rest of the day. Still don't get anywhere near my numbers on that either. I always feel so full when I try to eat a 3rd time. Is this normal?

you need to eat more to get you protein, do not drink 1 hour before eating and eat ever 4 hours

you need 80 gm protein a day and 65 oz liquid or you will get sick

I think you are fine. Your stomach is still swollen and its hard to get down soft foods. As the weeks go on it will get easier. Keep up with the water and protein as much as you can. Eating soft foods will fall into place. Fluids is the highest priority because of dehydration.

Try protein supplements that are not as thick as a protein shake.  Isopure Plus (or just regular Isopure) drinks like kool aid and is a lot less heavy on the stomach. You can find them at the Vitamin Shop or GNC or online.
