Any Recommendations on High Capacity Scales? I bought a Jobar International 550lb talking scale, but low and behold it don't talk nor stabilize to give a weight. What do or did you guys use while still preop?

I bought an electronic health o meter at walmart. I believe the capacity is 440 lbs. It has been great.

I bought my Tanita Dr's balance scale in 03 when I was banded at 486 lbs. It's still accurate and has been throughout my sleeving at 350. It has the screw things to adjust if it does go out of balance.  I went to the website and bought it online. At that time it was around 200 bucks.

This is the scale my husband and I both use:

My Weigh 550 Pound High Capacity Scale

We used it pre-op when he was 500 pounds and I was 400 pounds and it works beautifully.  It talks but we turn that feature off, haha!
