Do the tummy gurgles ever go away?
Nope. Mine diminished a lot since surgery but they still pop up here and there.

6m out and still have them. beverages are worse for me. I think I swallow too much air.

My mom is 9 years out from her RNY and I can hear her gurgles from across the room on a daily basis. That's one of the reasons I didn't want the RNY. Lucky for me, I do not have this issue. The first few days I did, but I realized it was from eating Sorbitol. Once I quit sorbitol, my tummy was feeling great. No more gurgles.

I am only 3 months out, so I get them a lot, and it bothered me in the beginning. At my one month checkup, I asked about it and Dr. Binenbaum said I may have them forever. So, I decided to like them. They don't hurt, and I think of them as a reminder to eat slowly, chew a lot and stop before I finish if I start to get uncomfortable.
