Itchy Belly!!!
I guess because I've had many incisions in the past, injuries that have healed, I should know to expect itching on my stomach from my incisions....BUT HOLY CRAP!!
The itching woke me up this morning and I feel like I can't scratch around the incisions just right without looking in a mirror to make sure I don't accidentally scratch the incisions themselves so I'm finding myself jumping up and going to the bathroom to scratch all the time!
My husband said to use hydrocortisone cream on the areas between incisions but I don't think that would help, would it? Not only that but I'd be afraid I might accidentally get some into the incisions even though they're covered with surgical glue except for the drain one. SOOO ITCHY!!!

My itchiness was a reaction to the glue in the tape they used on the incision dressings (even band-aids will make me itch). Benadryl should help.
