Day 9 ....feeling great but....

So quick question, I' m 9 days out feeling pretty good actually, not much gas anymore, lots of energy, and the only thing driving me batty is the head hunger but I'm kicking that right in the a$$ too! 

My question is has anyone felt like or had complications following surgery with their lungs. I only have pain in my left side, only really notice when I breathe deep.....is this normal?

Headed to see doc in the morning for staple removal so will ask about it but just curious if anyone else had an issue? Almost feels like maybe my lung is bruised or maybe punctured???

The operation is below your diaphragm so trauma to the lungs isn't all that likely. Odd aches and pains are, and a fair number of people do have left sided pain because that was the location where the stomach was removed. Best to check with the doc while you are there to rule out an odd complication, but I'd out my money on just general post op pain and not anything seriously wrong.

I had pain in my side where the muscle had been stitched though.  Definitely ask your doc.
