Psych appt not until Nov 25.

 My last step is the Psychologist and they can't see me until late November.  Already have approval through medicare so this is my only hurdle.  The gal said they have lots of cancellations so I am on the list to get in sooner.  Wanted my surgery in November.  Still hoping....

Good luck. The appointments for which I had the most trouble scheduling was the sleep studies since they insisted I do it at the clinic and not the home version.

Hang-in-there, all happens in good time. I was anxious to my surgery earlier too, but it turned out really great that it was scheduled in December. I'm getting tons of information from people on this forum and have learned so much. Good luck.

It just means that you'll have more time to work on changing your lifestyle and getting your head on straight and doing more research!  

That is true.  However I still hope someone cancels so I can get this step out of the way.  I am making small changes to my every day routines.  I am drinking water and not with meals in preparation. 

The more small changes you can make, the better off you'll be when you get there :D  

I know I was annoyed by my month delay due to the ulcer found during my first endoscopy but, in retrospect, I'm glad I had the extra month to prepare, find a therapist, etc.
