Didn't get to Trader Joe's yesterday - darn, I was looking forward to it.  When I got out of my Support Group meeting, had to go to the lab for bloodwork, so it was almost 6:00 when I left the hospital.  It was dark and rainy and traffic was a mess, so I headed home instead.  But, I am trying out a new fish recipe with spinach and cheese. May add some white wine, but the alcohol will cook off, so that's ok.  Still trying to diversify my menu.

I'm glad I'm going to the Support Group.  We talked about a lot of different things:  Eating during the holidays. (I'm not worried about that, if I go anywhere, it will be to my daughter who is very health conscious, or stay home and maybe instead of a turkey I'll try Cornish hens and veggies, and maybe a protein pumpkin mousse).  Also, there was a woman who was three years out - she was super depressed because although she eats healthy meals and also exercises, she has recently lost control of her "sweet tooth" and it has caused her to regain some weight. She had RNY and she was very disappointed because she has never dumped from the sugar.
