Best beef jerky ever: http://www.txslabs.com/index.html

Made from scratch from a family recipe - small family owned operation that is supervised with FDA requirements (they have a regular inspector) and it's fantastic!  They basically just take huge chucks of beef, cut it into small pieces by hand and marinate it in the stuff you find in your regular pantry but on a larger size.

It's basically like homemade - not the chopped and formed super sweet stuff that you find in stores.  It's not cheap, but that's because it's all beef - there isn't any added fillers.

That is made in my hometown.  I will have to check them out the next time I go back.  I just wish I could still eat Mindy Lu pies.

Awesome!  If you go, check out their hand cut steaks as well, grass fed, super tender and great prices.  They have a tiny store but it is packed with fantastic stuff - the jerky is what started it all though.

I like the Wal-Mart original beef jerky: 1oz had 80 cals,  1g fat,  3g carbs,  14g protein. I also buy boxes of Jack links beef steaks for when I'm on the go.  Each individual snack has 50 cals, 1g fat,  1 carb,  10g protein. My fave is when we make it homemade though!

Jack Link's Small Batch Jerky is my favorite.  Great flavor/texture and very low in sugar(1 gram).  It is hard to find but Walmart usually has it by the check out stands.  It comes in 3 flavors, orginal, pepper and teriyaki.

I like Rileys beef jerky www.rileysjerky.com.  It is pretty expensive, but is oh so good.  Unfortunately a 2 ounce serving is a whole days worth of sodium.  I don't care.  We can't give up everything.  Right??

1 ounce is 90 calories.  10 calories of that is fat, and 1 calorie is carb, so this is all meat.
